The most important announcement days for Kerala Blasters are coming up.

The two upcoming foreign players are just as important as the foreign players including Sido who have joined the team so far.  The most important of these is the AFC player.

If the team is ready to implement the 3 + 1 rule in the Indian Super League from the 2021-2022 season and qualify for future AFC tournaments, then that AFC player will be the most crucial for any team.  Therefore, when selecting an AFC player, the Blasters will try to bring in players from the best AFC affiliated countries who can be included in long - term plans.

The AFC player is not mandatory in the playing XI next season.  But the team is mandatory in the squad. No team is expected to include an AFC player in the squad just to sit on the bench.  The maximum number of foreign players that can be included in the team squad for the coming season is 7.  A maximum of 5 foreign players can play in Team XI.  Therefore, the AFC player will be very crucial for each team.

The Blasters have so far brought in quality foreign players with experience playing in European leagues and championships.  The team, which includes Sporting Director Carolis Skinkis, Head Coach Kibu Vikuna, Assistant Coach Thomas Shores, Tactical & Analytical Coach David Ochoa and Physical Trainer Polius Ragoscos, will be instrumental in bringing foreign players to the team.

A centerback and a striker are expected to arrive in the Blasters' remaining two foreign slots.

It is in these two foreign slots that no clues have come out yet.

So looking forward to a surprise announcement .....
