Situated amidst the mountains of Karnataka with its ever foggy landscape, Coorg is an ideal destination for nature lovers.  Built by a beautiful hill station, this hill station is not only popular for its beautiful green hills and cutting streams.  It is also a popular destination for its culture and people.  Indigenous Kodavans, who specialize in martial arts, are particularly notable for their hospitality.

Known as Kodagu, Coorg is one of the richest hill stations in Karnataka.  The place is famous for its beautiful scenery and lush greenery.  Forested hills, spices and coffee plantations enhance the landscape.  Madikeri is the focal point of the region where all transportation starts from here.  During a visit to Coorg, cover beautiful cities like Virajpet, Kushalnagar, Gonikoppal, Polybeta, Somwarpet and make the “homestays” of the beautiful idea even more memorable.

The best time to visit Coorg is from September to June, when the weather is pleasant and not hot without rain.  However, if you want to go trekking, October to March is the best time to visit Coorg as it is the best time for you to spend more time outside.  During the monsoon months of July and August, it is best to avoid heavy rains and landslides
