The Kerala Blasters' case is reportedly considering Honda for the role of Asian player in the remaining two foreign signings.  The player is currently playing in the Siri A Club Botafogo in Brazil


 Honda, Asia's number one attacking midfielder, won the 2013 Asian Player of the Year award and was instrumental in helping Japan win the 2011 Asian Cup.  Honda has played close to 100 games for Japan and has scored nearly forty goals


 Honda has also played for CSKA Moscow and AC Milan


 The Blasters have signed Vicente Gomez, who has experience in La Liga, Hooper, who has the best record in Europe, Costa, the best defender in the Europa League, and Fakundo Pereira, the playmaker from Messi's hometown.


 The Kerala Blasters are waiting to see if the Honda, which is changing into an incredibly professional style with the signings of world class players, will be brought to the tent.
